PSTET 2019 Application Information: Every year The Department of School Education, Government of Punjab invites applications for PSTET 2019 which is conducted tentatively in the month of July 2019. This is the opportunity for those desired applicants who want to become the teacher. The exam is conducted in two stages i.e primary Teacher stage and Elementry stage.

Eligibility Criteria for PSTET 2019

Qualification required for becoming a Teacher for Classes I-V

2 years of Diploma in Elementry Education is required or be appearing in final year of Diploma and you should have scored 50% of marks in 12th or its equivalent. OR

You should have passed or been appearing in the final year of 2 yr Diploma in Elementary Education and you should have achieved the minimum of 45% marks in Senior Secondary (its equivalent). OR

You should have achieved the minimum of 50% marks in 12th or its equivalent and passed or appearing in the 4-year Bachelor of Elementry Education (B.El.Ed).

It’s necessary to pass or appear in 2-year Diploma in Special Education and should have achieved 50% marks in Senior Secondary or its equivalent.

OR

You must be graduated and passed or appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Qualification required for becoming a Teacher for Classes VI-VIII:

You must be Graduate and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

You must have scored 50% marks in Graduation and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

OR

You must have gained 45% marks in Graduation and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

OR

You should have scored 50% marks in your Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% of marks and must have passed or appearing in final year of Four years B.A/B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed or B.Sc.Ed.

OR

You must be Graduated with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

Important Note:

If you belong to reserved categories, such as SC/ST/OBC/Differently abled than you will get relaxation of 5% in the qualifying Marks.

If you are in the final year of Bachelor Degree in Education or Diploma in Elementary Education etc. are provisionally admitted and their PSTET Certificate will be valid for only on passing the aforesaid Examinations.

So if you are interested in becoming teachers for class I to VIII you have to fill Online Application. To get Govt jobs in government schools it’s mandatory to qualify TET Exam. Telangana TET is divided into two parts i.e paper I for Class I to V paper II for class VI to VIII.

Application fee according to Telangana TET Notification 2019:

  • You have to pay Rs. 200/- for each paper through TSonline or Payment gateway centres before the due date.
  • Fee once paid will not be refunded.

Eligibility Criteria as per Telangana TET Notification 2019:

  • You must be Indian resident with valid ID proof.

For paper I  (CLASSES I TO V)

    • You must have passed Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks from recognised board. However, if you belong to reserved category i.e SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, then you have to achieve minimum marks of 45%. AND you must have passed in 2 – year Diploma in Elementary Education/4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)/2 – year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

      OR

  • You must achieve minimum 45% marks in Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) from the recognised board but if you belong to SC/ST/BC/Differently abled categories, then you have to secure minimum 40%. AND you have to pass 2 – year Diploma in Elementary Education/4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)/2 – year Diploma in Education (Special Education) in the case of the candidates who have passed or admitted to D.El.Ed / D.Ed., course prior to the issue of these guidelines by govt.

For paper – II (Classes VI to VIII)

  • You should carry degrees like B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., with minimum 50% marks. If you belong to SC/ST/BC/Differently abled categories, then you need to achieve the minimum marks of up to 45%. AND should be passed in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course / Bachelor of Education (B.Ed -Special Education).
    OR
  • You must have degrees like B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., with at least 50% of marks. Applicants belonging to SC/ST/BC/Differently abled categories, the minimum marks shall be 40%. AND pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course/Bachelor of Education (B.Ed -Special Education) in the case of the candidates who have passed or admitted to B.Ed., course prior to the issue of these guidelines.
    OR
  • You must have done 4-year B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed., with at least 50% of marks, in the case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled applicants, the minimum marks shall be 45%.
    OR
  • You must be graduate with language concerned as one of the optional subjects OR you must be Bachelor of oriental language (or its equivalent) OR Graduate in literature OR Post Graduate in the language concerned AND Language Pandit Training Certificate/B.Ed with language concerned as one of the Methodologies, in respect of Language Teachers.

  • You must have attained the age of at least 18ys and maximum age limit is 40yrs.
  • You must have cleared Intermediate standard from APBSC (Andhra Pradesh Board of Secondary Education).

  • Ed degree is compulsory affiliated from the recognised board.
