Exam Pattern for AE Exam :

Objective Type Question Paper

A) General Ability Test

  • General Hindi: You will get 100 questions for 50 marks which should be completed in 2 hours.
  • General Knowledge: You will get 100 questions for 100 marks which are also completed in 2 hours.

B) Engineering Subject

  • Paper Ist: You will get 200 questions for 300 marks which should be solved in 3 hours.
  • Paper IInd: You will get 3 hours to 200 questions for 300 marks.

C) Personal Test

  • Verbal Test will be conducted for 100.

UKPSC Syllabus for AE Exam General Hindi

  • Basically, the syllabus for Hindi will be based on High School. You should prepare your grammar from Hindi Language book.

UKPSC Syllabus for AE Exam General Studies

  • You will get questions from Topical Events and be focusing its scientific parts which give information about scientific use in daily life. Also, you will get questions from Indian History, politics and its Geography. Some questions will be based on Basic computer knowledge.

For Agricultural Marketing Officer (Training & Canning) in the West Bengal Junior Agricultural Service (Marketing) under Agriculture Marketing Department (01 vacancy):

  • You must hold the degree in Food Technology/ Food Technology and Biochemical engineering or its equivalent qualifications from an affiliated University/Institute; OR
  • You must hold B.Sc. degree from an affiliated University/ Institute; and
  • You must have done training in Fruit Preservation/ Fruit Processing at Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysore/ Bangalore or any other Government or Government Organised Institution or you should hold five years experience in a Fruit Preservation or Processing Factory of repute or Training Centre under Government, and
  • You must be fluent in languages like Bengali/Nepali -spoken and written
  • Your maximum age limit is 36 Years.

For Draftsman (11 vacancies)

  • You must have passed Madhyamik Examination of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent Examination
  • You should hold National Trade Certificate from Industrial Training Institute in the trade of Draftsman or its equivalent; and
  • You should carry 03 years’ practical experience in Civil Engineering drawing works.
  • You should not exceed maximum 39 years of age.
